Not all kids have it easy. Since 2007, Twirligirli has made it a mission to find ways to help kids in need around the globe. Providing our products to suffering and underprivileged children will always be at the heart of our business. From the beginning, owner, Cat Stovall, has worked to provide gowns, capes, and more to kids living in poverty in four countries in Africa: Kenya, Ghana, Tanzania, and Ethiopia. Around 2008 Twirligirli donated our products to local families suffering from the disaster of Hurricane Ike. We soon after partnered with Shriner’s Hospital in Galveston, TX and in 2013 with the helps of donors, Twirligirli was able to donate 71 gowns and capes to their child patients. We remain partners with this wonderful organization today and work on give-a-ways each year full of superhero-inspired products as well as hospital gowns out of fun prints that Cat has designed.
We often hold fundraisers / give-a-ways once or twice a year asking for donations towards these projects. With the price of a gown or cape, or any donated amount, one can help sponsor a product for a child. Often times we make a special tag with the sponsor’s name / picture on it so that it feels more personal as to who gifted them the item.
We are always looking to make new Twirligirli friends. If you are interested in our becoming a donor you can join our mailing list by contacting us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Donations can be made at any time.
